The Greater Latrobe High School Clay Target Team is a club sport offered to all students in 7th through 12th grade. We are a member of the Pennsylvania State High School Clay Target League which is part of the USA High School Clay Target League. 

We’ve been shooting at the Sportsmen’s Association of Greensburg since the Spring of 2020, and our team participates in the Fall (August - October) and Spring (March - June) Conferences every school year. 

Our priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship - in that order! Currently the team competes in Trap Shooting, which consists of shooting two 25 target rounds for a total of 50 targets from five different 16-yard stations.  In 2023, we added Skeet Shooting, which also involves 50 targets, but includes eight different stations and double targets launched from two different houses.

Clay target shooting is currently the fastest growing and safest sport amongst high school students. As our team continues to grow, we feel that it’s important to educate everyone about our sport and the positive influence that shooting sports can have in an individual’s life.
